Now I am sure you may have read quite a few Gyro Bowl Reviews before reading mine. I don’t know what kind of feedback you have gotten so far but I will share my personal experience with gyro bowl.
I have a 21 month old boy. He will be turning 2 yrs very soon and I am existed about that. I bought the gyro bowl about 3 – 4 months ago and for one simple reason. I hate having to clean up the mess my son makes over and over and over.
Every time he eats he makes a mess, not just because he is a messy eater but mainly because he has this love for throwing food on the table and floor just for the fun of it. So I saw the Gyro Bowl infomercial and I thought to myself wow now why didn’t I think of that. Anyway so my wife went ahead and ordered it. I usually take a while before I can warm up to ordering something from an infomercial.
We got our gyro bowl and were very quick to try it out. We filled it with dry cereal and gave it to my son. Do you want to know what happened next? I’m sure you do. Well here it is. Two minutes later all the cereal was on the floor! SURPRISE! Don’t feel to let down as yet. I have to say was not the fault of the Gyro Bowl. For some reason little KD figured out that if he held the gyro bowl inside bowl (The part that rotates) then he can turn it upside down and spill thing just like always. Man I felt like we just wasted money on this stupid plastic bowl.
BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE!
Anyway I did not give up on this first attempt. After a few tries and giving the bowl to KD every day to eat his snacks from he started holding it the right way. He decided it may be too much trouble to hold this bowl in the middle to spill his snack or he just figured out it was lots more fun to use it the way it was meant to use. If I give him a normal bowl he still turn it upside down and throws out his snacks so I know he has not out grown that as yet. Once he has the gyro bowl he does not make the mess. He runs all around the house with it in his hand filled with cereal and to our pleasant surprise there is no mess after.
I am truly a happy camper now and I have to say that the gyro bowl does live up to the hype. It is also very strong and takes the beating my little one dishes out to it. Sometimes the inside bowl comes out but you just have to put it back in. It is easy to clean. If you don’t have a dishwasher you just take out the inside bowl, wash and then replace.
If you think you may want to buy gyro bowl then I would say go for it. You will be happy and have a lot less cleaning to do, something I know all parents want.
Thanks for reading.
